In your broweser, type (or whatever you named your PHP file).

Type sudo apachectl restart and press Enter.

Press Ctrl+O followed by Enter to save these changes.

Replace both occurrences of /Library/WebServer/Documents with /Users/.

Go back to Terminal and enter sudo nano /etc/apache2/nf.

Here is the simple code to show the PHP information screen in your browser (remove the quotes).

Create a simple PHP script file and save it into your new folder.

Navigate to your Home folder on your Mac in Finder.

Type sudo apachectl restart and press Enter to re-start Apache with the new configuration.

Press Ctrl+O followed by Enter to save your change.

Delete the # from #LoadModule php7_module libexec/apache2/libphp7.so.

Press Ctrl+W which will bring up a search.

Open Terminal and type sudo nano /etc/apache2/nf and press Enter.

This step should only be required for your initial web configuration.

When prompted, enter your Mac user account password.

Type the following command: sudo launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/ and press Enter.

If you don’t configure automatic starts, you will have to manually start Apache in Terminal each time you want to work with your local website(s). If you want to configure Apache to start automatically when you boot your Mac, continue with the following steps.

If Apache is running you will see “It works!” in your browser.

Open a web browser and enter the URL as “ and press Enter.

at the sh prompt, type apachectl start and press Enter.

When prompted, enter your Mac user account password.

In Terminal, type the following command: sudo su and press Enter.
